The Document Checklist Generator builds a personalised list of the compliance documents your business needs, based on your trade and the accreditations you are targeting. Select your trade and tick the frameworks that matter to you, CHAS, SSIP, Constructionline or ISO, and the tool produces a checklist grouped by category. Each document is tagged with the accreditations that require it, so you can see where one policy or certificate covers several schemes at once.
It is aimed at UK contractors and QHSE managers who are tired of guessing what assessors expect. Core items like employer’s and public liability insurance, a health and safety policy, risk assessments and CSCS cards appear for every trade. Specialist requirements are added automatically, for example Gas Safe registration for gas engineers or Part P for electricians. The generator is free and needs no account. - What documents do I need for CHAS accreditation?
- CHAS requires employer's liability insurance, public liability insurance, health & safety policy, risk assessments, CSCS cards, training records, and accident records. CHAS Premium adds environmental policy, equal opportunities, and modern slavery requirements.
- Are the document requirements different for each trade?
- Yes. Different trades have additional specialist requirements: for example, electricians need Part P certification and NICEIC registration, while gas engineers need Gas Safe registration.
- Can I target multiple accreditations at once?
- Yes. Select multiple accreditations and the checklist will show all required documents, tagged with which accreditation needs each one. Many documents overlap, so you can see where a single document covers multiple requirements.
